Goodyear has reaffirmed its leadership in tire innovation and performance, clinching the top spot in the prestigious ADAC winter tire test for the second consecutive year. This latest accolade follows a string of test victories, including wins in ADAC’s winter and all-season tire tests in 2024, and the all-season tire test in 2025, reinforcing Goodyear’s reputation for consistent excellence across segments.
The UltraGrip Performance 3 impressed with top marks in driving safety and environmental performance, boasting the lowest abrasion and best mileage. It even performed over 10% better in terms of mileage than the next-best tire in the test overall, demonstrating a clear performance edge over leading competitors. ADAC praised the tire’s “good driving safety and a positive environmental profile,” confirming its balanced performance and cutting-edge technology.
With 269 SKUs, the UltraGrip Performance 3 offers one of the most extensive winter tire range in the market, ensuring drivers across Europe can experience Goodyear’s award-winning performance regardless of vehicle type.
“These consistent test wins are a testament to our market-back product development strategy,” said Ben Glesener, Senior Director Technology Consumer EMEA. “We’re proud to deliver tires that meet the evolving needs of today’s drivers—combining safety, environmental performance, and driving excellence”
“Goodyear’s continued success in independent tests underscores our commitment to innovation and excellence, reinforcing our position as a trusted leader in the tire industry,” concluded Ben.
