Goodyear named ‘Top Manufacturer of the Year for Summer Tires 2026’ by Auto Bild
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has been named ‘Top Manufacturer of the Year for Summer Tires 2026’ by Auto Bild1. One of Europe’s most widely read automotive publications has recognized the brand’s strong performance across this season’s independent tire tests.
This award marks the fourth time2 in the past five years that Goodyear has earned this prestigious title, underscoring the brand’s ability to consistently deliver results in independent tire testing. Goodyear also received the special Auto Bild accolade, which is based on the combined results of Auto Bild’s recent summer tire tests, in 2022, 2023 and 2025.
Goodyear secured the shared3 leading position when compared against several industry competitors. Auto Bild editors praised the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, awarding it an “Exemplary” rating twice, naming it Eco Champion, and crowning it Green Tire of the Year - recognition that highlights the tire’s well- balanced performance, efficiency and sustainability.
