The “exemplary”1 Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 tire is awarded Test Winner status in two separate tests by Auto Bild and AUTO ZEITUNG, and “Good” in ADAC’s latest test.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 has excelled in the latest European magazine tests, claiming top honours in Auto Bild and AUTO ZEITUNG’s latest summer tire tests and achieving an impressive shared second place finish in the renowned ADAC’s test.

Auto Bild named it Test Winner and recognised it with the prestigious ‘Eco-Master’ award. 1 This marks the sixth time since 2020 that a Goodyear tire has earned this accolade.

Testers praised the ultra-high-performance (UHP) tire for its excellent balance of performance, class-leading mileage, lowest cost per 1,000 km driven and its lowest external noise 1, reinforcing its readiness to equip the latest electric vehicles.

AUTO ZEITUNG, also awarding Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 with Test Winner status in its latest test, hailed the tire as an “absolutely flawless winner,” commending its ability to “combine performance and sustainability at the highest level.”2 The publication further recognised its environmental credentials, awarding it an ‘Environmental Recommendation’ for its balance of performance and efficiency.2

In addition, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 also secured a shared second place finish out of seventeen and an overall “Good” rating in ADAC's latest summer tire test. ADAC experts praised the tire’s “excellently balanced performance,” highlighting its “good properties” on wet and dry roads, “high predicted mileage,” and absence of any “particular weaknesses.”3

Largest offer of all time

This follows last month’s announcement that Goodyear is to expand its Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 range to its most extensive range ever. Throughout 2025, 42 new tire sizes will enter the market to increase the total product offering to 233 SKUs. This marks the largest UHP summer tire range in Goodyear’s history, meeting the increasing demand in Europe’s SUV and EV markets. More consumers will soon be able to enhance their driving experience and enjoy the road, thanks to Goodyear's award-winning tires.

The new SKUs are optimised to fit a wide range of modern vehicles and popular EVs, such as the Volvo EX90, Range Rover Sport, Tesla Model Y, Polestar 4 and Audi Q8 e-tron.

Sonia Leneveu, Director Marketing Consumer EMEA, Goodyear: “The results of these independent tests reinforce the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 as a top choice for drivers seeking a balance of high performance, efficiency, and sustainability. We are delighted that Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 has been recognised so highly across three separate tests, excelling across all key metrics and delivering an exceptionally well-balanced performance.

“As drivers become more conscious of efficiency and range, earning the ‘Eco-Master’ title from Auto Bild and AUTO ZEITUNG’s environmental recommendation become more relevant than ever. With 42 new sizes being introduced in 2025, Goodyear continues to pursue the development of its tires to meet the growing demand in the European EV and SUV markets.”
