Dunlop heads to Motocross of Nations with all-star rider lineup

Dunlop Motorcycle Europe heads to this weekend’s FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN) in Ernée, France, supporting an all-star rider lineup that it hopes will build on another hugely successful motocross season.

Following last weekend’s season-closing MXGP of Australia, many of the world’s leading motocross riders will return to action this weekend and compete for the Chamberlain Trophy at the storied event. Dunlop will equip 32 riders representing 16 nations in total, bringing together motocross talent from the FIM Motocross World Championship and North America’s Supercross and Pro Motocross series, and beyond.

Dunlop has established a strong record of success at MXoN in recent years, equipping riders representing each of the winning nations across the last four editions. Team Australia claimed victory in 2024 and 2025, Team France triumphed in 2023, and Team USA took the title in 2022.

This year, Team Australia will arrive in France with an entirely new rider lineup, as Jed Beaton, Alex Larwood and Aaron Tanti look to defend the title secured by the all-Dunlop team last year.

Team USA will also field an all-Dunlop trio, led by three-time 450cc AMA Supercross champion Cooper Webb alongside Julien Beaumer and Levi Kitchen.

MXGP runner-up Romain Febvre heads the Dunlop contingent for Team France, where he will be joined by fellow Kawasaki Racing Team rider Mathis Valin.

Dunlop will also equip two-time MXGP World Champion Jorge Prado, who lines up for Team Spain alongside newly crowned MX2 World Champion Guillem Farres.

They will be joined on the Dunlop lineup by a host of other leading MXGP and MX2 riders, such as Camden McLellan (Team South Africa), Liam Everts (Team Belgium), Pauls Jonass (Team Latvia) and Jeremy Seewer (Team Switzerland).

Riders competing at the MXoN, as well as in the FIM Motocross World Championship and the North American Supercross and Pro Motocross series, can choose from a range of Dunlop Geomax motocross tires.

This range includes the sand-focused Geomax MX14, designed to provide traction on loose surfaces; the Geomax MX34 intermediate tire; and Geomax MX54, the latest addition to the range which has become the tire of choice for riders on a wide range of intermediate and hardpack surfaces.

Wim Van Achter, Motorcycle Motorsport Manager EMEA, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe: “The fact that so many top riders continue to choose Dunlop Geomax tires underlines the Geomax range’s performance credentials. We work closely with top riders to develop new Geomax products, using their feedback to refine our tire technology.

“Our most recent innovation, Geomax MX54, makes the Geomax range our strongest and most versatile motocross range yet, drawing on our knowledge from winning top professional championships. With its broader scope, it could be the tire of choice for Ernée’s traditional hardpack clay circuit this weekend.”

Another record motocross season for Dunlop

The MXoN provides the perfect finale to another highly successful motocross season for Dunlop, marked by dominant performances in both European and North American series. In the United States, Dunlop carried Ken Roczen to claim his maiden 450cc AMA Supercross title, extending Dunlop's impressive streak of winning all AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross titles since 2010.

In the FIM Motocross World Championship, Dunlop secured another MX2 championship title, with Guillem Farres taking the crown and leading Triumph Racing to a one-two finish alongside teammate Camden McLellan. The Triumph Racing duo dominated the season, combining for 11 of the 19 available Grand Prix victories and demonstrating the performance and versatility of Dunlop Geomax tires across a wide range of track conditions.

In the top MXGP category, Kawasaki Racing Team rider Romain Febvre finished runner-up in the standings, adding another strong result to his landmark championship victory with Dunlop last year. In WMX, MX Fonta Racing GASGAS rider Kiara Fontanesi narrowly missed out on an historic seventh WMX title. The Dunlop rider claimed victory at the Great Britain round at Foxhills in July and added three second-place finishes across the championship’s other four rounds.

Eddy Seel, MXGP Event Leader, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe: “We are honoured that Dunlop Geomax tires are the products of choice for 32 of the world’s most talented riders representing 16 different nations. The level of competition is always high at MXoN, but Dunlop has a history of success. Our riders have already proven the performance and reliability of the Dunlop Geomax range all season long, so we’re ready to continue with that this weekend. Allez!”
