Dunlop crowns new Superstock Trophy and Production Trophy champions at the 89th edition of the Bol d’Or

Dunlop has crowned the Superstock Trophy and Production Trophy champions at the 89th edition of the Bol d’Or, which marks the end of the 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) season. Supporting 43 teams across all categories, Dunlop’s KR racing slicks delivered the performance and consistency required during the 24-hour race.

The Bol d’Or delivered a dramatic championship decider under mostly clear blue skies, with close battles across the open-tire Formula EWC class and Dunlop-exclusive Superstock Trophy and Production Trophy categories. Throughout the 2026 season, including the final round, Dunlop has supplied its trusted KR108 and KR109 slicks to teams in all categories, while all teams also benefited from the latest generation medium specification front tire, with the development name G2_01 VAL3.

Wójcik Racing Team claims Superstock Trophy title while Legacy Competition is crowned Production Trophy champion

The No. 77 Wójcik Racing Team, featuring Jordi Torres Fernandez, Milan Pawelec, Mateusz Molik and Hector Vicent Garzo, secured the Superstock Trophy victory at Circuit Paul Ricard after finishing P6 overall. The result moved the Polish team ahead of the No. 38 Champion-Hert Powered by MRP team, which finished P11 in class, to claim its first-ever Superstock Trophy title.

Second place went to the No. 36 3ART Best Of Bike Hamaguchi team, while the 2025 Superstock champions, the No. 44 Honda No Limits team, secured third place in the championship standings with their third place finish in the race. The No. 18 Team Pompiers Igol CMS Motostore also finished inside the overall top ten, resulting in four Superstock teams in the top ten at the end of 24 hours of racing.

With every team competing on tires from Dunlop’s KR slick range, the Superstock Trophy once again delivered some of the closest racing of the weekend. Throughout the 2026 FIM EWC season, Superstock teams consistently challenged for overall top ten positions, going head-to-head with factory-backed machinery in the premier class. Lap times were increasingly close to those set in the EWC class, as already demonstrated by the No. 25 Team Étoile with a lap time of 1:52.119 in qualifying, highlighting the narrowing performance gap between the two categories and showcasing the capability of both the Superstock teams and Dunlop’s racing tires. 

The Production Trophy also crowned its second-ever champion, with the category enjoying its largest grid of the season with 13 bikes. The No. 96 Legacy Competition team secured their first-ever Production Trophy title after finishing second in class at the Bol d’Or, while 2025 champion No. 199 ARTEC claimed second in the championship, followed by the No. 16 HTC Racing team.

Good showing in open-tire Formula EWC class

Dunlop-equipped privateer teams also delivered strong performances in the open-tire Formula EWC class, further demonstrating the competitiveness of Dunlop tires among the championship’s leading teams.

The No. 6 ERC Endurance team, featuring Loris Baz, Marcel Schrötter, Kenny Foray and Jan-Ole Jähning, was the highest-qualifying Dunlop-backed team in Formula EWC, setting a best lap time of 1:52.173 in the Bol d’Or test before qualifying P4 with a lap time of 1:51.524, just six tenths off the fastest qualifying time. Despite retiring from the race at Circuit Paul Ricard, the team finished sixth in the final Formula EWC championship standings with 62 points, making ERC Endurance the highest-placed Dunlop-backed team in the category across the 2026 season. 

The No. 14 MACO RACING TEAM was the top Dunlop-backed team in the Formula EWC class at the Bol d’Or, making a strong comeback from P21 on the grid to finish P8 and end the season tenth in the Formula EWC standings. The No. 53 Mana-au Competition team also climbed from P28 to finish P11 and secured eighth place in the final class standings.
