Sava launches All Weather tire for year-round performance and durability

Sava has launched its new All Weather tire, which provides modern technology and improved driving characteristics in a package designed to perform on winter roads.
Interest in all-season tires has grown in recent years, with as many as one fifth of customers choosing them, and three-quarters showing interest in buying them1. The all-season tire segment remains the fastest growing tire segment, with an average annual growth rate of 31% between 2014 and 20192.
Sava has a history that dates back over 100 years. It’s roots are in the Adria region, but today it's a brand trusted by drivers throughout Europe. The All Weather tire is designed with the variability of this region’s roads in mind, so that it performs on snowy and wet surfaces, while remaining durable with high mileage potential.
The Sava All Weather tire’s modern technologies promise improved driving characteristics, while its performance is optimised for driving in winter conditions. This is marked with the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol (3PMSF) to confirm that the tire is certified for winter conditions.
Improved characteristics for better performance
The Sava All Weather tire offers reliable performance and handling on wet surfaces thanks to a distinctive V-shaped tread pattern, which further increases its resistance to aquaplaning. This ensures efficient evacuation of water from the tread, thereby improving wet grip and braking.
Reliable control in the snow is ensured through a combination of wave-shaped and straight longitudinal sipes in the tread. This combination creates multi-directional edges that run diagonally in multiple directions, which improves the tire's snow-biting ability and results in better grip.
The tire is further distinguished by the polymer blend in its compound, ensuring long tire life and low fuel consumption. The tread compound offers better wear resistance, resulting in better mileage, and it is also characterized by low heat generation, which contributes to lower energy consumption and consequently better fuel efficiency.
The tire is available in sizes from 14 to 18 inch. Its full range will be gradually made available by the beginning of 2022.
