Goodyear tires chosen as original equipment for the new fully-electric Jeep Avenger
A range of Goodyear tires have been selected as original equipment (OE) fitments by Jeep® for the all-new Avenger. The approved fitments include tires from Goodyear’s summer and all-season ranges, to complement the vehicle's advanced capabilities.
Goodyear’s tires will be fitted as standard to the highly anticipated Jeep Avenger, which is the first Jeep vehicle which comes in an all-electric version. This significant development aligns perfectly with Goodyear's ‘ready for EV’ strategy, showcasing the company's commitment to providing innovative tire solutions for electric vehicles and the future of sustainable transport. The Jeep Avenger is available to buyers in all European markets as a petrol model, too.
The Jeep Avenger, which has been commercially launched in June 2023, has already sparked tremendous excitement within the automotive industry. From Goodyear’s all-season range, the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 has been recognized for its excellent performance in wet conditions, whilst also offering benefits such as shorter dry braking and improved dry handling, making it suitable for use all year round in both dry and wet conditions. The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 and EfficientGrip 2 SUV are both summer tires which feature a flexible tread that helps to reduce fractures caused by rough road surfaces, resulting in excellent durability. Additionally, the Efficient Grip Performance 2 offers at least 20% more mileage than the next best-tested competitor1, resulting in a longer life for the tire.
