The range caters to rim sizes of up to 22-inch

Goodyear’s premium all-season product Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 is now available to a broader range of vehicles as the brand continues to invest in the growing market segment.

Given the forecasted increase in demand for all-season tires in Europe, Goodyear is strategically placed to strengthen its position with Vector 4Seasons Gen-3. The line extension will introduce 29 new SKUs, 17 of which are 19-inch and above to cater to the increased popularity of new vehicles fitted with large, premium wheels.

The wave of new sizes strengthens the proposition of Goodyear Vector 4Seasons in the market, demonstrating Goodyear’s strength as a leader of innovation. The tire is optimized to fit the latest vehicles such as the Audi SQ8 e-tron and Ford Explorer, as well as popular models like the Polestar 2 and BMW X3. The tire is EV-ready thanks to its low rolling resistance and noise characteristics, making it a great choice for the likes of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz and ID.7.

Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 is a European Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) certified tire with exceptional summer and winter performance. The technology within the tire helps it grip in wet, snow and icy conditions thanks to a cutting-edge tread pattern design, which doesn’t compromise dry performance thanks to a compound that can operate in a wide range of temperatures.

The tire also features Goodyear SealTech in a range of SKUs, which is designed to effectively seal tread penetrations of up to 5mm, so that the tire remains inflated until it can be professionally inspected.

Goodyear SoundComfort Technology has been developed to lower the cabin noise associated with tires. This technology can lead to a 50% reduction in noise1 thanks to a sound cushion placed inside the tire, particularly important for electrified vehicles.

Goodyear Vector 4Seasons has also justified its popularity with several magazine test wins, including Auto Bild’s prestigious all-season test comparing tires from across the industry2.

Sonia Leneveu, Director Marketing Consumer Europe, Goodyear, comments on the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 line extension: “We’re pleased that following the success of the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3, we are making it available to more vehicles in the premium segment. Our most advanced all-season tire, which features some of the most advanced technologies in the industry, has contributed in popularising all-season tires across Europe. The number of sizes available demostrates how Goodyear is at the forefront of tire innovation.

“This extension will allow our customers to offer the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 to many more consumers with a broader range of vehicles, offering them the efficiency and convenience they are looking for.”
