Goodyear named Top Manufacturer of the Year of Summer Tires by Auto Bild
Goodyear has been named the Top Summer Tire Manufacturer for 2025 by Europe’s most-read car magazine, Auto Bild1, recognising its exemplary results across this season’s tire tests for products including Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6.
Crowning this prestigious award to Goodyear for the third time in four years2, Auto Bild’s editorial team considered the results of its four summer tire tests in 2025, which produced two test wins and a runner-up for Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 as well as a prestigious award for EfficientGrip 2 SUV.
Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, Goodyear’s hero UHP summer tire, was also given Auto Bild’s Eco-Master title, while EfficientGrip 2 SUV was recognised with the ‘Green Tire’ award by Auto Bild. All in all, these results combined to rank Goodyear as the German magazine’s ‘Top Manufacturer of the Year’ for summer tires.
The report summary read: “Deserved victory - With three top rankings for the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, a top position for the EfficientGrip 2 and two special awards (Eco-Master and Green Tire), tire manufacturer Goodyear started the 2025 summer season well deserved as the Top Manufacturer of the Year.”3
Goodyear received the special Auto Bild accolade also in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, it was also named Top Manufacturer of the Year for Winter Tires4.
Eric Henrotin, Vice President Product Development EMEA & Technology Operations Excellence: “To be recognised as the Top Manufacturer for Summer Tires this season by Europe’s most widely read automotive magazine is an accomplishment we are immensely proud of. It underlines our commitment to innovation and performance across our range in tires such as Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, which has been developed to enhance the driving experience in all summer weather conditions.”
