Dunlop renews partnership with ISDE ahead of 2022 edition

  • Dunlop Geomax Challenge returns
  • Team USA chooses Dunlop to challenge for the win
  • 2022 edition to take place in southern France

Dunlop has renewed its partnership as an official sponsor of the FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE), which this year takes place on a demanding route at Le Puy-en-Velay, France, from Monday 29 August to Saturday 3 September.

This continued partnership will include the return of the Dunlop Geomax Challenge for club level amateur teams as well as support for all Dunlop partner teams and riders. In 2022, Team USA’s A-team will be amongst the challengers racing with Dunlop and the Geomax EN91 tyre.

The Dunlop Geomax Challenge, introduced for the 2021 edition held in northern Italy, supports and promotes club and amateur riders in this most gruelling of endurance competitions.

Central to Dunlop’s involvement in ISDE is the Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyre, which has been designed to give riders superb versatility over a wide range of riding conditions. Its compound was specifically created to provide the highest grip on off-road surfaces, while its pattern features hexagonal blocks to give agile handling, thus reducing rider fatigue. As a result, the innovative tyre is now a winning choice for enduro riders of all levels.

Luca Davide Andreoni, Marketing Manager, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe: “We are excited to return as an official sponsor of the FIM International Six Days of Enduro this year after a successful debut of the Dunlop Geomax Challenge in 2021. We look forward to supporting teams of all levels, from professionals fighting for the overall victory to club and amateur riders racing as part of the Dunlop Geomax Challenge. The beauty of this competition is that club level riders race with the same Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres as the top level teams.”

Fabio Muner, FIM Marketing & Digital Director: “Firstly on behalf of the FIM I would like to express our thanks to Dunlop for their continued support and involvement at the ISDE. Their programme captures the spirit of this great competition perfectly, with their Dunlop Geomax Challenge aimed at the Club Teams, whilst they are also providing tyres to the American team who again look to be one of the main challengers in the FIM World Trophy class. Having amateur riders racing alongside the pro competitors is one of the things that makes the ISDE so unique.”
