]]>Dunlop Motorcycle Europe has been named the official tyre partner of RAPID Training, supporting its new partnership with Honda to deliver advanced rider coaching in the UK.

As part of the partnership, Dunlop will supply a selection of its most popular road and track tyres for use on RAPID Training’s fleet of instructor bikes. These courses are designed to build skill and confidence across both road and track disciplines, for riders of all levels of ability.

Founded in 1997, RAPID Training has long been recognised as one of the UK’s leading rider development organisations, delivering expert coaching across both road and track applications. Its recently announced partnership with Honda formalises a shared commitment to improving standards in rider skill and safety, bringing a number of new project partners on board, including Dunlop.

As the official tyre partner, Dunlop will supply three of its most popular road and track products to support the programme: SportSmart TT, a proven 50/50 road and track tyre; Dunlop RoadSmart IV, its premium sport-touring tyre; and Dunlop’s newest hypersport product, SportSmart mk4.

These tyres will be fitted to Honda’s selected training bikes, with the Honda NT1100 supplied to coaches for road-based tuition, and the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade chosen for more advanced track-based activities.

The announcement comes during a strong period of recognition for Dunlop’s latest sport-touring and hypersport products. In April, RoadSmart IV swept ratings in a road tyre test by MOTORRAD, while in March, SportSmart mk4 marked its first anniversary with a double test win in two leading European motorcycle publications.

]]>Customers who purchase a pair of Dunlop or Avon qualifying tyres are able to claim up to £40 cashback to spend however they choose. 

The offer runs nationwide until 15th July and with a wide selection of different tyres available within the offer, Dunlop and Avon are providing cashback to adventure bikers, street cruisers and track day goers alike.

Dunlop and Avon have decades of heritage to bear in crafting tyres that deliver the value, confidence, styling and, above all, the performance to deliver the perfect ride. Riders seeking to get a new set of tyres for the new season can claim the following:

  • £40 cashback on a pair of Dunlop RoadSmart IV, SportSmart TT and Mutant tyres
  • £30 cashback on a pair of Dunlop SportSmart mk4, Trailmax Meridian and Trailmax Raid tyres

This year, the offer has been extended to allow Dunlop customers at Adventure Bike Rider Festival (26-28th June) to take advantage of the deal. Dunlop will return to Europe’s largest adventure motorcycle festival to offer expert advice and will also provide an on-site tyre fitting service, delivered in partnership with fully licensed provider Holbeach Motorcycle Tyres. Customers at the event will also be able to take advantage of the offer.
