Goodyear’s Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 commended as ‘Exemplary’ in latest Auto Bild allrad All Season tire test

Brussels, July 2017 – In its latest issue Auto Bild allrad has put eight All Season tires to the test, with Goodyear’s Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 named as best performing tire, sharing first place[1]. The tire is described as exemplary for performing nearly as well as a winter tire on snow, its very short braking distance on a wet surface and for being very quiet, a characteristic that can make driving more comfortable.

The Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 tested braking distance is 2.2 meters shorter than the second-place tire on a wet surface and 12.1 meters shorter than the last place tire. Additionally, the Goodyear tire was four decibels quieter than the loudest in the test, making it comfortably quiet. According to the testing team, “everyone immediately hears the difference, no matter which car.”

“These results show that in the All Season segment Goodyear continues to be a leader with a product offering that manages the mix of European weather conditions, including winter and wet conditions, all year round.” says Martijn de Jonge, Brand Director Consumer PBU EMEA.
