Goodyear UltraGrip Performance Gen-1 takes first place in Sport Auto winter tire test

Germany’s well known automotive magazine Sport Auto has published the results of its annual winter tire test, and Goodyear’s UltraGrip Performance Gen-1 has come out as a test winner. The magazine awarded Goodyear’s latest winter tire with a shared first place and lauded the tire as ‘very recommendable’[1].

Since winter weather can be unpredictable, Goodyear’s UltraGrip Performance Gen-1 provides the much-needed performance to get drivers through challenging winter conditions.

The magazine praises the UltraGrip Performance Gen-1 for its exceptional grip, with very precise handling on wet surfaces. Performing consistently well in all categories, the tire was commended for its trustworthy driving characteristics in winter conditions and lauded for its balanced capabilities in the dry.

“These results are a true testament to the stand-out performance of the UltraGrip Performance Gen-1 tire,” said Mike Rytokoski, Chief Marketing Officer at Goodyear Dunlop Europe. “Our engineers devote many hours of hard work and dedication into the development of the best possible winter tires, to give drivers peace of mind.”
