Dunlop at ISDE: Six days of action, two podiums, one win.

The ninety-fifth running of the International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) took place in northern Italy this week and concluded with a winning performance from Dunlop teams and riders.

Two years after Team USA’s overall win on Dunlop in the last running of ISDE, their teammates matched the feat in clinching the Women’s World Trophy class. Building a lead of over thirteen minutes, Team USA were dominant throughout the gruelling event. Just like their 2019 overall winning compatriots, the Women’s World Trophy winners used Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres.

In the overall World Trophy Team competition, Team USA also came close to taking back to back wins, taking a strong podium result.

Dunlop - supporting club riders on the international stage.

Dunlop’s commitment to ISDE was underlined by the introduction of the Dunlop Geomax Challenge. This league was created to support and promote club and amateur riders and the competition was as intense as in the overall fight for honours.

Cole Martinez may have been an ISDE novice, but the American had an outstanding week on the international stage, leading the Dunlop Geomax Challenge from day one. Martinez beat his compatriot Nicholas Swenson to take the inaugural award.

Luca Davide Andreoni, Dunlop Marketing Manager is proud of the brand’s support of amateurs: “There was a strong entry of trophy teams and clubs thanks to the promotion and incentives on offer. The Dunlop Geomax Challenge provided the opportunity for amateur club riders to perform using the same tyres as the winners. This allowed them to focus only on giving their best in the race. That mindset reflects Dunlop’s brand mission of Just Ride.”

Fundamental to conquering the variety of tough riding conditions were the Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres, designed to have great versatility across a wider range of riding conditions. Since its introduction at ISDE 2019, the innovative Dunlop tyre has become a winning choice for amateur and professional racers alike.

“From its creation the Geomax EN91 was designed to help maximise grip across a range of terrain but in particularly rocky and unpredictable surfaces. We are thrilled that Team USA chose the EN91 to win the Women’s World Trophy and an overall podium,” added Luca.
