The partnership, facilitated by Al Rashed Tires, Goodyear’s esteemed distributor in the Kingdom, involves the multi-year supply of premium tires along with Goodyear digital tire inspection solutions.
– In addition to premium tires, Goodyear will support Alsalem Transportation & Tourism Co. with its signature digital tire management solutions including CheckPoint, an automated tire inspection system, and Tire Optix, a digital tire inspection solution. This enables Alsalem Transportation & Tourism Co. to make informed decisions and optimize its fleet's performance by prioritizing tire service and minimizing tire-related incidents. This will allow Alsalem Transportation & Tourism Co. to achieve its goals of delivering a superior standard of comfort and safety for its passengers.
The Goodyear CheckPoint provides automated inspections of tire pressure and tread depth. Ideal for high-volume yards, this solution enables large quantities of vehicles to be inspected and offers a frequently updated snapshot of tire health. Meanwhile Goodyear’s Tire Optix inspection solutions includes a digital inspection toolset that will enable Alsalem technicians to data accurately and efficiently with instant results. To ensure that Alsalem achieves intended efficiencies in its operations, Goodyear will also provide necessary digital knowledge transfer through staff training and technical visits.
